ملخص:Assesses whether the concept of cooperative security can be applied to the search for security between Israel and its Arab neighbours. It examines, firstly, the ways in which politics and political cultures in the Middle East shapesecurity policies. Secondly, it looks at possible mechanisms that may help the parties to the Arab-Israeli dispute to establish a cooperative basis for durablepeace and security.
