ملاحظة الأطروحة:Thesis University of Michigan 1987. ملخص:This exploratory study is a first step in investigating personality profiles of elementary teachers in the Sultanate of Oman. It conjectures that the presence of teachers of different Arab origins (Egyptian, Jordanian, Saudi Arabian, Sudanese, Tunisian) staffing Omani schools may reflect values and personality traits inconsistent with the goals of child socialization in Omani culture. Teachers' personality characteristics are important to policy makers, since more than half of Oman's school teachers.
