If you are interested in aviation history, have links with the RFC or RAF or are a keen modeller, this is a work that you will find most useful. It is well researched, covers a wide range of the vehicles used by the RAF, and Commonwealth forces, as well as their finish and markings. The only criticism that I have is that I felt that there could have been more illustrations, or descriptions, of RAF crash tenders, fuel tankers and mobile airfield control towers. However, the author has made the most of the limited space that he had in a volume of this size, and this is only a minor, personal criticism.
