Microsoft Outlook 97 Step By Step manages to provide an introduction to Outlook while still delving into some of the software package's most powerful capabilities. A bundled floppy disk contains practice files you use to follow along with the lesson, review, and practice sections in the book--a useful addition if you don't already have a lot of data to work with. Many of the lessons focus on workgroup features, including features that require access to a Microsoft Exchange Server back end. (Many users won't be in an Exchange Server environment.) There's also a chapter on using Outlook when you're away from the office, which also assumes that you're using Exchange.
