Includes a facsimile reproduction of the manuscript copy of the autobiography, now in the Library of Congress, which Lincoln prepared at the request of J. W. Fell in 1859, and the letter of transmittal.
The appendix consists of two letters of J. J. Lewis to J. W. Fell concerning the action of the anti-Cameron faction in Pennsylvania.
